On March 12, 2019, Lieutenant General Daniel Baumgartner, former Commander of the Swiss Land Forces, Switzerland, was inducted into the National Defense University International Fellows Hall of Fame. The ceremony and reception took place in historic Roosevelt Hall at Fort McNair in Washington, DC. Lieutenant General Baumgartner is a 2009 graduate of the National War College.
