March 12, 2015, March 12, 2015 —
NDU is pleased to announce our next Alumni Seminar will be held in Cartagena, Colombia on June 10-12, 2015. This will be NDU's fifth continuing education seminar and first in Latin America. Join fellow NDU graduates for a unique opportunity to discuss critical security issues in the region and to connect with former classmates and the university.
Graduates of any of NDU's five colleges (CISA, ES/ICAF, iCollege, JFSC, and NWC) are welcome to attend, including U.S. graduates working in the region.
The three-day event will include academic sessions led by NDU faculty, presentations by alumni experts and key leaders in the region, and networking and social opportunities. Spouses are welcome to attend all social functions. Seminar discussion topics will focus on an analysis of current events in Latin America, promoting positive civil-military relations, creating comprehensive approaches to combating terrorism, and managing external actors in the region.
This seminar is made possible through collaboration with the Colombian Navy and by the invitation of Admiral Hernando Wills, Commander of the Colombian Navy and graduate of the NDU Class of 2008.
